Our Zika Prevention Measures

The safety and welfare of our guests and staff is of highest priority. As such, we continue to gather the most recent information to help travelers as we carefully monitor Zika affected areas and take great measures to follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and tourism boards.

According to the CDC, Mexico and the Dominican Republic are at a Level 2 - Alert, which asks that guests practice enhanced precautions while traveling including the use of effective mosquito repellents, wearing light-colored clothes that cover the body, and staying in well-ventilated areas. For more information, please visit www.cdc.gov.

We support full communication and have taken preventive initiatives, such as addressing areas of standing water, providing mosquito repellent to all guests, and fumigating resort grounds and surroundings with approved repellent. Because of these proactive measures, no cases have been reported at any of our properties and resort areas remain at low risk.

As a precaution the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have recommended pregnant women to postpone travel, but all other travelers are encouraged to keep their plans and follow a few basic guidelines outlined above.

We hope this eases any concerns you may have as we continually monitor the situation. Please check back for any updates or contact us with any questions you may have.
